This yogurt ice cream \/ frozen yogurt is just that: creamy, pleasantly sweet, and completely sugar-free without any additives. It's a little bit of summer happiness in a bowl, quick to prepare, and perfect for those who like things healthier and natural. Whether as a snack between meals or as a healthy dessert \u2013 this yogurt ice cream is a simple way to sweeten up warm days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vanilla Extract as an Important Ingredient in Yogurt Ice Cream<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Really good ice cream is creamy, but not liquid or crystalline. The art of making really good ice cream is getting the consistency right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my recipe, I use homemade vanilla extract. I bought about 10 vanilla pods, cut them lengthwise, and then let them steep in a bottle of vodka for several weeks. Since alcohol doesn&#039;t freeze, it&#039;s a good idea to add a little vanilla extract (i.e., vodka)! It improves the consistency and also contributes to the flavor.
