I always have this healthified semisweet chocolate hazelnut spread in my fridge. I love this simple recipe and that it is so versatile!

This chocolate hazelnut spread is delicious on bread and banana bread and perfect as a topping sauce for porridge and ice cream (it even turns hard shell!) as well. As opposed to the original, no palm oil or sugar is used, but this spread mostly consists of roasted, pureed hazelnuts and sugar-free chocolate. It's to die for!
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 100 g (sugar-free, low carb) bittersweet chocolate (can also use milk chocolate, I like to use chocolate bars by Simply Keto)
- 65 g erythritol
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened, for baking)
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt (optional)
- 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp (liquid) coconut oil

Remark
When stored in the fridge, this spread will harden and become solid. It returns easily into it's liquidy form after 1 minute in the microwave.
This chocolate hazelnut spread also makes a great ice-cream sauce or topping for sweet bowls or porridge.
