Hello and welcome to sizzling & frizzling! My name is Judith and I'm glad to share my favorite recipes with you.

A little bit about me: I studied economic mathematics in Würzburg, completing both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and now I work as an actuary for an insurance company. So, why did I start a recipe blog? Because I enjoy it! I love getting my hands into the dough or smelling the delicious aromas when I’m sautéing something!

Since I started cultivating a sourdough starter and baking with it in 2021, I've developed a real passion for it and made great progress. You are finding all of my recipes in the category sourdough (along with many helpful hints and tricks).

Over the years, I've tried out, modified, improved, and tasted many recipes. Often, I even prefer cooking at home over going to a restaurant! I've also explored the topic of nutrition and found healthier alternatives for some recipes. Feel free to explore the category healthy !

I also like to take women’s health into account and divide most of my recipes into the four phases of the cycle: follicular phase, ovulation phase, luteal phase and menstrual phase. A cycle-based diet can help bring hormones back into balance. For those who want to learn more, I recommend books or content by Alisa Vitti, for example. The idea is to provide the body with the right nutrients at the right time.

All further categories, e.g. vegetarian, dairy-free or salads should be self-explanatory. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at sizzlingandfrizzling@gmail.com
